DIGITAL IDENTITY — e-CIS iD

DIGITAL IDENTITY

The Identity Layer of Connected Financial Architecture

Digital identity is an important component of modern financial and institutional infrastructure. Secure identity verification, controlled access, authentication, permission management, data protection, and operational security support trusted relationships across financial platforms, institutions, and jurisdictions.

Within the Tank ecosystem, e-CIS iD is being developed as a digital identity initiative supporting identity verification, authentication, access coordination, and institutional connectivity across selected Tank platforms and participating environments.

Identity, Privacy & Security

Digital identity infrastructure requires strong principles of privacy, security, governance, and regulatory alignment.

e-CIS iD is being developed with an emphasis on secure authentication, controlled access, data protection, auditability, and responsible information management. Where identity verification is used in connection with regulated financial, payment, or onboarding activities, the responsible institution remains subject to applicable KYC, AML, sanctions, privacy, and regulatory requirements. e-CIS iD is intended to support these processes; it does not replace the independent compliance or onboarding obligations of a financial institution or other regulated entity.
